Regional development institutions unite their agenda
A cooperation agreement between the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia and the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies was signed at the General Meeting of NAAIR at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum SPIEF 2021.

The agreement was initiated by regional development corporations, which are members of both organizations. Today, the two Associations, which have existed autonomously for more than 10 years, have decided to join forces and coordinate their plans to support their members. This involves the integration of websites in terms of mutual access of members to individual services, joint events and common initiatives aimed at attracting investors to the regions.

As part of the partnership, AIP Russia will focus on locating industrial enterprises, providing site selection services according to the technical parameters of production, and advising investors on industrial design and construction. Denis Zhuravsky, the head of AIP Russia, stresses that the Association's tasks are more and more confined to applied issues of implementing specific projects of investors on the sites of Association members.

Additionally, members of the Association will offer best practices of creating industrial parks and SEZs as part of NAAIR's training modules for regional development institutions.

Attracting investors to Russia's regions remains the joint task of the two Associations.
