The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia hosted a seminar on the development of the system of state support for regional industrial infrastructure.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia held a seminar dedicated to the development of the system of state support for regional industrial infrastructure. The event was organized by the Ministry jointly with the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia.

The seminar was organized by the Department of Regional Industrial Policy and Project Management in offline format in the building of the Government Complex in Moscow and simultaneously online for the regions. In total, the seminar was attended by over 150 representatives of regional authorities, development agencies and corporations and management companies of industrial parks from 52 regions.

A representative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia addressed to the members of the Association of Industrial Parks of Russia with a welcoming speech on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov. The role of the Association in formation of the regional industrial infrastructure industry and the development of industry standards was noted.

The participants were also told about the work on "reset" of the mechanisms of the regional industrial infrastructure, carried out by the Department to fulfill the order of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin from 04.11.2019 № Pr-2245.

Thus, from 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will resume granting subsidies to management companies of industrial parks and industrial technoparks for the payment of interest rates on loans.

In addition, a new mechanism will be launched: reimbursement of expenses for the creation of infrastructure for private management companies of industrial parks and industrial technoparks from the federal budget in the amount of taxes paid by residents to the federal budget.

Taking into account the position of the regions, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia also proposed adjustments to the existing mechanism for reimbursing the costs of the regions for creating the infrastructure of industrial parks and industrial technoparks (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1119 of 30 October 2014).

These measures, designed to stimulate the inflow of investment in regional industry through the creation of prepared industrial sites, were supported by the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, D. V. Manturov, and approved by the supervising Deputy Prime Minister, Y. I. Borisov. The implementation of new mechanisms will attract private investments in the development of regional industrial infrastructure, primarily in the subjects of the Russian Federation with a low level of socio-economic development, priority geostrategic territories, single-industry towns
