Description
The Zavolzhye Industrial Park (formed in 2008) is a greenfield site with a centralized modern engineering and transport infrastructure for the placement of production facilities. The total area of the industrial park is 703 hectares. The park was one of the first in Russia to be certified by the Association of Industrial Parks as an operating industrial park (certificate No. 3). The site is provided with engineering infrastructure and facilities: electricity, gas, water supply, roads and railways, telecommunications. All plots in the industrial zone are owned by the Management Company – Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation JSC - and can be directly purchased by the investor through a purchase and sale agreement. Zavolzhye is one of the most successful investment platforms in Russia. According to the Expert analytical center, by the end of 2021, the Zavolzhye Industrial Park entered the group of leaders (second place, first - Ulyanovsk Poetry) – in its territorial group (120 km from the centers of economic growth in Russia and up to 250 km from Moscow and St. Petersburg) it took the third place in customer orientation and investment potential. The park is one of the most efficient in the country in terms of tax returns on investments in its infrastructure. One ruble of budget funds brought about 28.12 rubles of tax payments by residents of the Park and 35 rubles of investments by residents, which many times exceeded the state funds invested in the creation of its infrastructure.
